Laser vaginal tightening is a non-surgical treatment which results in little to no downtime. The treatment is virtually painless with many women reporting a warm short tingle but no pain. Results are noticed almost immediately but regeneration continues up to 3 months. One to three sessions can be required with excellent long term success.*
The vaginal wall contains collagen fibres which, like tissue anywhere else can lose elasticity as part of the ageing process. Childbirth, breast feeding and menopause are the most significant events that can cause changes, such as damage to supporting structures during childbirth or due to a change in oestrogen levels (which is responsible for keeping the vagina lubricated and elasticated). These can lead to urinary incontinence and decreased enjoyment of sexual intercourse. Lower oestrogen levels can cause thinning and dryness of the vaginal walls.
Hormonal shifts can also cause the labia minora (inner lips of the vulva) to darken in colour and the labia majora (outer lips of the vulva) to lose its plumpness.
The FemiLift™ procedure is the clinically proven GOLD STANDARD in non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment for SUI, urge incontinence and vaginal tightening for improving and rehabilitation of vaginal health post pregnancy.
It uses a CO2 fractional laser to stimulate collagen growth leading to vaginal remodelling and increased elasticity of the vaginal wall, increasing lubrication and reducing vaginal irregularities.
The Femilift is also an excellent treatment to treat darkening in the vulval or peri-anal area and to reduce volume and tighten the tissue in the labia majora.
