Carboxytherapy

Woman getting carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy is the use of micro needles under the skin to deliver CO2. This treatment stimulates blood flow to improve skin elasticity, reduce cellulite, increase collagen production and reduce localised fat. With minimal discomfort and downtime this non-surgical treatment is perfect for people who don’t want to turn to surgery. Treatment is safe for people of all skin types.

Dark circles under the eyes are a concern for many of us generally caused by poor circulation in this area or congestion. Congestion can be due to a number of things such as poor lymphatic drainage or allergies. This FDA approved treatment improves the circulation around the eye areas, resulting in reduction in the dark circles, which we find unsightly. The dark circles are replaced with a healthy pink skin tone.

When we have stretch marks this is because tearing of the skin layers has traumatised the collagen formation caused by puberty, muscle building, pregnancy and much more. Carboxytherapy improves the skins elasticity and collagen production and this reduces the appearance of stretch marks. Treatment is suitable for stretch marks old and new.

A large proportion of mostly females are affected by the appearance of cellulite. Cellulite is the appearance of fat dimples most commonly found on the thighs and buttocks and occurs when there has been damage to the layer of connective tissue in the skin allowing some fat to push through. Carboxytherapy increases the production of collagen, which can help repair the damaged layer of connective tissue and it can also help reduce localised pockets of fat helping the overall appearance of cellulite.
